Sura 27: An-Naml (Ants)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of God, The All Gracious, The All Merciful

طسٓ تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَكِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ ١

[27:1] TS. These are the proofs of the Quran and a clarifying scripture.

هُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٢

[27:2] Guidance and good news for the faithful.

ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ ٣

[27:3] Those who uphold the contact prayer; give their cleansing charity and are certain about the Hereafter.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ ٤

[27:4] Indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We adorn their deeds; consequently they become blind.

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ ٥

[27:5] These are the ones who have deserved the worst suffering and in the Hereafter, they are the losers.

وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ ٦

[27:6] And indeed you are receiving the Quran from the special place of All Wise, All Knowing.

إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًا سَـَٔاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ ءَاتِيكُم بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ ٧

[27:7] When Moses said to his family, I certainly see a fire; I will soon bring you news therefrom or bring you a torch for you to be warm.

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهَا نُودِىَ أَنۢ بُورِكَ مَن فِى ٱلنَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٨

[27:8] Then, when he got to it, it was announced, that blessed is the One within the fire and its surrounding, and glory to God Lord of the Multiverse.

يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٩

[27:9] O Moses, indeed I am God, The Almighty, The All Wise.

وَأَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَآنٌّ وَلَّىٰ مُدْبِرًا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ يَـٰمُوسَىٰ لَا تَخَفْ إِنِّى لَا يَخَافُ لَدَىَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ ١٠

[27:10] And throw down your staff. Then when he saw it moving, just like a snake, he turned around and fled and did not turn back. O Moses, do not be afraid, surely I am here, indeed my messengers, in My presence, shall have no fear.

إِلَّا مَن ظَلَمَ ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسْنًۢا بَعْدَ سُوٓءٍ فَإِنِّى غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ١١

[27:11] But those who transgress, then redeem their evil deeds with goodness, thereafter I am indeed All Forgiving, All Merciful.

وَأَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِى جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍ فِى تِسْعِ ءَايَـٰتٍ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَـٰسِقِينَ ١٢

[27:12] And put your hand in your pocket, it will come out white without ill. These are amongst nine signs to Pharaoh and his people. Indeed they are wicked people.

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَـٰتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ ١٣

[27:13] And when they received Our signs, plainly before their eyes, they said; this is clear magic.

وَجَحَدُوا۟ بِهَا وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًا وَعُلُوًّا فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ ١٤

[27:14] And they argued and convinced themselves; they were transgressing and were arrogant. Hence, note the consequence for the corruptors.

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَـٰنَ عِلْمًا وَقَالَا ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ١٥

[27:15] And We endowed David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, praise God, the One who preferred us over many of His faithful servants.

وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَـٰنُ دَاوُۥدَ وَقَالَ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنطِقَ ٱلطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْمُبِينُ ١٦

[27:16] And Solomon was David's heir, and he said; O people, we have been taught the language of the birds, and are endowed with all kinds of things. Indeed this is a clear bounty.

وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمَـٰنَ جُنُودُهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلطَّيْرِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ ١٧

[27:17] And readily available for Solomon were his armies of jinns and humans and birds, they were forced.

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ وَادِ ٱلنَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّمْلُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ مَسَـٰكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَـٰنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ١٨

[27:18] Until they arrived in the valley of the ants, the female ant said; O you ants; enter your home, lest Solomon and his troops will trample you while they do not perceive.

فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا مِّن قَوْلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَـٰلِحًا تَرْضَىٰهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِى بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِى عِبَادِكَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ١٩

[27:19] He then smiled and laughed at her statement and said; Lord guide me to be appreciative of Your blessings that You have bestowed upon me and my parents and do the righteous deeds that pleases You, and admit me into Your mercy along with Your righteous servants.

وَتَفَقَّدَ ٱلطَّيْرَ فَقَالَ مَا لِىَ لَآ أَرَى ٱلْهُدْهُدَ أَمْ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْغَآئِبِينَ ٢٠

[27:20] And he inspected the birds, then said; why do I not see the hoopoe, why is he absent?

لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُۥ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا أَوْ لَأَا۟ذْبَحَنَّهُۥٓ أَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّى بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ ٢١

[27:21] I will surely punish him a severe punishment or I will slaughter him, unless he comes to me with a good reason.

فَمَكَثَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِۦ وَجِئْتُكَ مِن سَبَإٍۭ بِنَبَإٍ يَقِينٍ ٢٢

[27:22] He then waited a short while; he then said, I have knowledge of something that you know nothing about and I come to you with certain news from Sheba.

إِنِّى وَجَدتُّ ٱمْرَأَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ وَأُوتِيَتْ مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيمٌ ٢٣

[27:23] Indeed I found a woman who is ruling them and has been endowed with all kinds of things and possesses a magnificent palace.

وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ ٢٤

[27:24] I found her and her people prostrating before the sun instead of God, and Satan has adorned their deeds and has diverted them from the path, consequently, they are not guided.

أَلَّا يَسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى يُخْرِجُ ٱلْخَبْءَ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفُونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ ٢٥

[27:25] Why do they not prostrate before God, the One who brings out the secrets of the vacua and matter and knows what they conceal and what they declare.

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ۩ ٢٦

[27:26] God, there is no god except He, Lord of the throne, the All Magnificent.

قَالَ سَنَنظُرُ أَصَدَقْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ ٢٧

[27:27] He said, wait until I find out if you are telling the truth or lying.

ٱذْهَب بِّكِتَـٰبِى هَـٰذَا فَأَلْقِهْ إِلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا يَرْجِعُونَ ٢٨

[27:28] Go with this letter of mine and give it to them, then move away from their midst but wait to see how they respond.

قَالَتْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ إِنِّىٓ أُلْقِىَ إِلَىَّ كِتَـٰبٌ كَرِيمٌ ٢٩

[27:29] She said, O my people; indeed I have received an honorable letter.

إِنَّهُۥ مِن سُلَيْمَـٰنَ وَإِنَّهُۥ بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٣٠

[27:30] It is indeed from Solomon and it is indeed "in the name of God, The All Gracious, The All Merciful."

أَلَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَىَّ وَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ ٣١

[27:31] Do not seek exaltation over me and come to me in peace.

قَالَتْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ أَفْتُونِى فِىٓ أَمْرِى مَا كُنتُ قَاطِعَةً أَمْرًا حَتَّىٰ تَشْهَدُونِ ٣٢

[27:32] She said, O you people, advise me on my action, I will not act upon this decisively, until you reach a consensus.

قَالُوا۟ نَحْنُ أُو۟لُوا۟ قُوَّةٍ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ وَٱلْأَمْرُ إِلَيْكِ فَٱنظُرِى مَاذَا تَأْمُرِينَ ٣٣

[27:33] They said, we possess the power and we have the ultimate might, and the command is yours, and we are waiting your order.

قَالَتْ إِنَّ ٱلْمُلُوكَ إِذَا دَخَلُوا۟ قَرْيَةً أَفْسَدُوهَا وَجَعَلُوٓا۟ أَعِزَّةَ أَهْلِهَآ أَذِلَّةً وَكَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ ٣٤

[27:34] She said, indeed kings, once they conquer a country, they spread corruption and humiliate its dignified inhabitants, and this is what they do.

وَإِنِّى مُرْسِلَةٌ إِلَيْهِم بِهَدِيَّةٍ فَنَاظِرَةٌۢ بِمَ يَرْجِعُ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ ٣٥

[27:35] And I will send an emissary to them with a gift and wait until the messengers return.

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ سُلَيْمَـٰنَ قَالَ أَتُمِدُّونَنِ بِمَالٍ فَمَآ ءَاتَىٰنِۦَ ٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّآ ءَاتَىٰكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ ٣٦

[27:36] Then when they came to Solomon, he said; are you trying to impress me with goods? What God has given me is far better than what you are giving me; no it is you who rejoice in gift giving.

ٱرْجِعْ إِلَيْهِمْ فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّهُم بِجُنُودٍ لَّا قِبَلَ لَهُم بِهَا وَلَنُخْرِجَنَّهُم مِّنْهَآ أَذِلَّةً وَهُمْ صَـٰغِرُونَ ٣٧

[27:37] Go back to them and let them know that we will come to them with armies that they cannot defend against and indeed will evict them therefrom, humiliated and debased.

قَالَ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ أَيُّكُمْ يَأْتِينِى بِعَرْشِهَا قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ ٣٨

[27:38] O you people, which one of you could bring me her palace before they come to me in peace?

قَالَ عِفْرِيتٌ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَ وَإِنِّى عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِىٌّ أَمِينٌ ٣٩

[27:39] A demon from jinns said; I can bring it to you before you stand up, and indeed I am powerful, honest.

قَالَ ٱلَّذِى عِندَهُۥ عِلْمٌ مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَن يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا عِندَهُۥ قَالَ هَـٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّى لِيَبْلُوَنِىٓ ءَأَشْكُرُ أَمْ أَكْفُرُ وَمَن شَكَرَ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِۦ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ رَبِّى غَنِىٌّ كَرِيمٌ ٤٠

[27:40] The one who had knowledge of the scripture said; I can bring it to you before you blink. Then when he saw it materialized before him, he said; this is a grace from my Lord through which He tests me whether I am appreciative or unappreciative, and whoever is appreciative, it only benefits himself, and whoever is unappreciative, then indeed my Lord is Rich, Honorable.

قَالَ نَكِّرُوا۟ لَهَا عَرْشَهَا نَنظُرْ أَتَهْتَدِىٓ أَمْ تَكُونُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ ٤١

[27:41] He said; do not tell her that this is her palace and wait to see if she recognizes it or not.

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ قِيلَ أَهَـٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِ قَالَتْ كَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ وَأُوتِينَا ٱلْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِينَ ٤٢

[27:42] Then when she arrived, it was said to her, is this your palace? She said; it indeed looks like it. And we were given the knowledge prior to this outcome and we were at peace.

وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَت تَّعْبُدُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِن قَوْمٍ كَـٰفِرِينَ ٤٣

[27:43] And she was hindered by those whom she worshiped besides God; indeed she was one of the unfaithful people.

قِيلَ لَهَا ٱدْخُلِى ٱلصَّرْحَ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَـٰنَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٤٤

[27:44] She was told; enter the hall, then, when she saw it, she thought it was covered with water, and she exposed her legs. He said; the hall has been polished like a mirror. She said; Lord, indeed I have transgressed against myself, and I offer peace with Solomon to God, Lord of the multiverse.

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَـٰلِحًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ ٤٥

[27:45] And indeed We sent to Thamoud, their brother Saleh, declaring "you shall worship God"; but, they became two feuding parties.

قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ ٤٦

[27:46] He said; O my people why do you hasten to commit evil instead of good? If you could only ask forgiveness from God, you may attain mercy.

قَالُوا۟ ٱطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَن مَّعَكَ قَالَ طَـٰٓئِرُكُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُونَ ٤٧

[27:47] They said; we take you and those with you as bad omen. He said; your omen rests with God, however, you people are being tested.

وَكَانَ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ تِسْعَةُ رَهْطٍ يُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ ٤٨

[27:48] And there were nine gangsters in the city who spread corruption throughout the land never did anything righteous.

قَالُوا۟ تَقَاسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُۥ وَأَهْلَهُۥ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِۦ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ ٤٩

[27:49] They said; we swear by God, we will surely attack him and his family at night and we will tell his heir, we did not kill his family, we are indeed truthful.

وَمَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرًا وَمَكَرْنَا مَكْرًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ٥٠

[27:50] They conceived a scheme, and We devised a plan while they did not perceive.

فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ مَكْرِهِمْ أَنَّا دَمَّرْنَـٰهُمْ وَقَوْمَهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ ٥١

[27:51] Therefore, observe the consequence of their scheme; We indeed uprooted them along with their people altogether.

فَتِلْكَ بُيُوتُهُمْ خَاوِيَةًۢ بِمَا ظَلَمُوٓا۟ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ ٥٢

[27:52] Then here are their collapsed homes, because of the injustice they committed. Indeed in this there is a sign for those who are knowledgeable.

وَأَنجَيْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ يَتَّقُونَ ٥٣

[27:53] And We saved those who were faithful and god-fearing.

وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَـٰحِشَةَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ ٥٤

[27:54] As for Lot, he said to his people, how can you commit such an abomination publicly?

أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ ٥٥

[27:55] Do you lust after men instead of women? Surely, you are ignorant people.

فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ ءَالَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ ٥٦

[27:56] The only response from his people was to say; evict Lot's family from your community, these are people who wish to be pure.

فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَـٰهَا مِنَ ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ ٥٧

[27:57] We therefore saved him and his family except for his wife; We destined her to be with the doomed.

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ ٥٨

[27:58] We rained upon them a rain, what a miserable rain for those who were warned.

[27:59] Say; praise God and peace upon his chosen servants. Is God better or what you set up as partners for Him?

[27:60] Who is the One who created the vacua and matter and sent down for you water from the sky and We grew with it orchards with natural beauty; you could have never grown their trees. Is there any other god with God? However, they are people who make equals to god.

أَمَّن جَعَلَ ٱلْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَجَعَلَ خِلَـٰلَهَآ أَنْهَـٰرًا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٦١

[27:61] Who is the One who made the land as an abode and made rivers therein and made mountains therein and made a barrier between the two seas? Is there any other god with God? However, most of them do not know.

أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ ٱلْأَرْضِ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ ٦٢

[27:62] Who is the One who responds to the desperate when he calls upon Him and removes the ills and made you inheritors of the land? Is there any other god with God? Only very few of you take heed.

أَمَّن يَهْدِيكُمْ فِى ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ وَمَن يُرْسِلُ ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ بُشْرًۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦٓ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ تَعَـٰلَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ٦٣

[27:63] Who is the One who guides you in the darkness of the land and the sea? And who is the One who sends the wind from His readily available mercy as good news? Is there any other god with God? Exalted is God, far above having partners.

أَمَّن يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَمَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَـٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ ٦٤

[27:64] Who is the One who initiates creation then repeats it? And who is the One who provides for you from the vacuum and matter? Is there any other god beside God? Say; present your proof if you are truthful.

قُل لَّا يَعْلَمُ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْغَيْبَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ ٦٥

[27:65] Say; no one in the vacua or matter knows the secret except God. And they do not know when they will be resurrected.

[27:66] However, they have no knowledge of the hereafter; they are full of doubt about it, they are totally blind to it.

[27:67] And those who are unfaithful said; when we and our fathers become dust, do we get resurrected?

[27:68] We and our forefathers were indeed promised the same in the past; these are nothing but tales from the past.

[27:69] Say, roam the land and observe the consequence for the guilty.

[27:70] And do not grieve over them and do not get angry because of their schemes.

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ ٧١

[27:71] And they say; bring this promise if you are truthful.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ ٧٣

[27:73] And your Lord indeed possesses bounty for the people, but most of them are not appreciative.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ ٧٤

[27:74] And your Lord knows fully what they hide in their chest and what they declare.

وَمَا مِنْ غَآئِبَةٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا فِى كِتَـٰبٍ مُّبِينٍ ٧٥

[27:75] There are no secrets in the vacua and matter that is not recorded in a clarifying book.

إِنَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ يَقُصُّ عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَكْثَرَ ٱلَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ ٧٦

[27:76] This Quran clarifies for the Children of Israel most of their disputes.

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٧٧

[27:77] And indeed it is guidance and mercy for the faithful.

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَهُم بِحُكْمِهِۦ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٧٨

[27:78] Indeed your Lord judges among them according to His Wisdom. And He is The Almighty, The All Knowing.

فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِنَّكَ عَلَى ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلْمُبِينِ ٧٩

[27:79] Therefore, put your trust in God, you are indeed armed with the proven truth.

إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا۟ مُدْبِرِينَ ٨٠

[27:80] Indeed you cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf respond to the call, just as when they decide to turn away.

وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَـٰدِى ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَـٰلَتِهِمْ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ ٨١

[27:81] And you cannot be a guide to the blind as they stray off. Only those listen who believe in Our signs and are at peace.

وَإِذَا وَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَخْرَجْنَا لَهُمْ دَآبَّةً مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ تُكَلِّمُهُمْ أَنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا لَا يُوقِنُونَ ٨٢

[27:82] And when the promise comes to pass, We bring out a creature out of the ground that speaks to them, saying that indeed the people are not certain about Our signs.

وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ فَوْجًا مِّمَّن يُكَذِّبُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ ٨٣

[27:83] And the day when We summon from every community a group who has rejected Our signs, forcibly.

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُو قَالَ أَكَذَّبْتُم بِـَٔايَـٰتِى وَلَمْ تُحِيطُوا۟ بِهَا عِلْمًا أَمَّاذَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٨٤

[27:84] And when they arrive, He asks, did you reject My signs without acquiring knowledge about them? Is it not what you did?

وَوَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا۟ فَهُمْ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ٨٥

[27:85] And the promise is fulfilled for them because of their transgression and they will not speak.

أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ ٨٦

[27:86] Do they not see that We indeed created the night for rest and the daylight a sight? Indeed in this, there are signs for people who are faithful.

وَيَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَفَزِعَ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ وَكُلٌّ أَتَوْهُ دَٰخِرِينَ ٨٧

[27:87] And the day when the trumpet sounds, then everyone in the vacua and matter will dread it except those who abide by God's will. All will come forcibly.

وَتَرَى ٱلْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً وَهِىَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ ٱلسَّحَابِ صُنْعَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ إِنَّهُۥ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ ٨٨

[27:88] And when you look at the mountains, you think they are motionless, but they move like the clouds. God's handiwork, the One who indeed created everything perfectly. Indeed He is fully aware of what you do.

مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهَا وَهُم مِّن فَزَعٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ ءَامِنُونَ ٨٩

[27:89] And whoever comes with goodness it is better for him and is completely secure from the fear of that day.

وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَكُبَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِى ٱلنَّارِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٩٠

[27:90] And those who have committed evil, humiliation will cover their faces in Hell; should they not be remitted for what they did?

إِنَّمَآ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ رَبَّ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْبَلْدَةِ ٱلَّذِى حَرَّمَهَا وَلَهُۥ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ ٩١

[27:91] I am only commanded to worship the Lord of this town, the One who made it sacred and to Him belong everything. And I am commanded to be a peace offeror -

وَأَنْ أَتْلُوَا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ فَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِى لِنَفْسِهِۦ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ ٩٢

[27:92] and to recite the Quran. Therefore, whoever is guided is guided for his own good, and as for the one who goes astray, then; indeed I am only a warner.

وَقُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ سَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَـٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ ٩٣

[27:93] And say; praise God, He will soon show you His signs, and then you will recognize them. And your Lord is never unaware of what you do.
