[53:1] By the star when it descends.

[53:2] Your friend is neither astray nor is he misled.

[53:3] And he does not speak according to his desire.

[53:4] It is only an inspiration that was inspired.

[53:5] The Ultimate Power taught him.

[53:6] Possessor of power of creation, absolutely equitable.

[53:7] While he was in the highest horizon-

[53:8] -He then moved down and came closer.

[53:9] He then came as close as a couple of bow lengths or even closer.

[53:10] He then inspired to His servant what was to be inspired.

[53:11] The mind did not make up what he saw.

[53:12] Are you then doubtful of what he saw?

[53:13] And indeed he saw Him on another descent.

[53:14] By the lotus tree at the ultimate point.

[53:15] Where paradise exists.

[53:16] While He covered the lotus tree as it was to be covered.

[53:17] The eye never wavered, nor did it ever look away.

[53:18] Indeed he saw great signs from his Lord.

[53:19] Have you looked at Allat and Aluzza-

[53:20] -and the third one, Manat?

[53:21] Do you have males while He has females?

[53:22] This is indeed an unjust distribution.

[53:23] These are nothing but names that you have made up, you and your ancestors when God241218 never authorized them. They only guess and they only follow their desires when indeed guidance had come to them from their Lord.

[53:24] Does not the human being have what he desires?

[53:25] Ultimately to God241319 belongs the Hereafter as well as this world.

[53:26] And so many angels in the vacua, their intercession will have no benefit in the least, except after God241420 has given permission for whomever He wills and approves.

[53:27] Indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter call the angels with feminine names.

[53:28] And they do not have any knowledge thereof. They follow only conjecture; and conjecture is no substitute for the truth.

[53:29] Therefore disregard those who turn away from Our message and seek only this worldly life.

[53:30] This is their share of knowledge. Indeed your Lord knows best those who deviate from His path, and He knows best those who are guided.

[53:31] And to God241521 belongs everything in the vacua and everything within matter. This is in order to requite those who commit evil, according to their deeds, and to reward those who do good with the best.

[53:32] Those who avoid gross sins and vice, except for minor offenses. Indeed your Lord's forgiveness is ever-expanding. He knows you best since He initiated you from the ground and since you were embryos in your mothers' bellies. Therefore do not claim of having pure souls, He fully knows those who are god-fearing.

[53:33] Do you see the one who turns away?

[53:34] And who gives very little, and very reluctantly?

[53:35] Does he have the knowledge of the future and can he see it?

[53:36] Is he not informed of the content of Moses' scripture?

[53:37] As well as that of Abraham who was most loyal?

[53:38] Absolutely, no one carries the sins of another.

[53:39] And the human has nothing unless he works for it.

[53:40] And he will soon see the results of his work.

[53:41] Then he will be recompensed with a complete reward.

[53:42] And indeed to your Lord is the final destiny.

[53:43] And surely He makes you laugh and cry.

[53:44] And surely He grants death and life.

[53:45] And indeed He created in pairs, male and female.

[53:46] From a tiny drop of semen.

[53:47] And surely, He will initiate once again.

[53:48] And indeed He makes you rich and gives you contentment.

[53:49] And He is the Lord of knowledge.

[53:50] And indeed He destroyed the ancient Aad-

[53:51] -and the Thamoud and those after them-

[53:52] -as well as the people of Noah before them. They were indeed all transgressors, rebellious.

[53:53] And He uprooted those who gave in to their desires.

[53:54] Then they were covered with specific material.

[53:55] Therefore, which one of your Lord's marvels do you doubt?

[53:56] This is a warner like the previous warners.

[53:57] It is approaching ever nearer.

[53:58] No one besides God241622 can stop it.

[53:59] Are you then surprised regarding this narration?

[53:60] And you continue laughing instead of crying.

[53:61] And you continue to amuse yourself.

[53:62] You shall therefore fall prostrate to God241723, and worship Him.
