[62:5] The example of those who were to uphold the Torah and subsequently failed to uphold it, is like a donkey which carries loads of literature. Such is the bad example of the people who rejected God25602334's Signs. And God25612335 does not guide the transgressing people.

[62:6] Say, O you who are Judeans, if you think that you are God25622336's friends to the exclusion of all the people, then you should look forward to death, if you are truthful!

[62:7] However, they never look forward to it because of what their hands have sent forth. And God25632337 knows all about the transgressors.

[62:8] Say, the death from which you are fleeing will eventually catch up with you. Then you will return to The Knower of all secrets and declarations, He then will inform you of everything you have done.

[62:9] O you faithful, when the announcement of the contact prayer on Friday is called, you shall rush to the remembrance of God25642338, and drop all business. This is better for you if you only knew.

[62:10] Then once the contact prayer is finished, you shall disperse throughout the land, and seek God25652339's bounty and remember God25662340 frequently that you may succeed.

[62:11] However, when they see a business or amusement, they rush to it and leave you standing. Say, what is reserved at God25672341 is far better than any amusement or business. And God25682342 is the best Provider.
